Olivia Brucker

I am a high school student at Scarsdale High School. I am passionate about art and want to continue this passion in college. I tend to start my artwork with a personal memory, photograph, or experience from my life. From there, I experiment with different materials and techniques to figure out the best way to bring that idea to life. I like pushing myself to try different materials because it helps me create artwork in unexpected ways and turn my personal experiences into something other people can connect with.

I am interested in making art that shows emotions and feelings that are hard to explain with words. I am a curious and observant person, and I like noticing small moments and expressions that other people might miss. Art is important to me because it helps me preserve moments in time and share how I see the world. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and using non-traditional materials to make each piece unique. My goal is to create art that helps people feel something and connect with the emotions behind my work.
