Sweet Tooth
18” x 24”
Candy, rubber cement
2026
This portrait was inspired by a photograph I took of myself shortly after having gum surgery. I recreated the portrait using candy in varying sizes, colors and textures. I created this mosaic by gluing each piece on plexiglass using tweezers. Using non-traditional art supplies and a limited color palette challenged me to think creatively about how color and shape would make the image recognizable.

The Bubble
32” x 8.25”
Gouache, colored pencils, digital photography
2025
This piece was inspired by a photograph I took in Poland, Maine. The bubble reflects the lake and trees, capturing a meaningful memory from camp. I created the image using gouache and colored pencils, then digitally placed it onto the shape of a skateboard. Through this piece I explored storytelling and connecting personal experiences to functional objects. Using a skateboard as the format represents how these memories stay with me wherever I go.
